Directors Karen Nolan and Ruth James pride themselves in their proactive approach to client service

As with any firm of accountants, it's the ability and experience of the team which extends the range of benefits it can offer its various clients.

Nolan James combines all aspects of accountancy, audit, business support and consultancy with something more - exclusive tax planning strategies to benefit companies as well as individuals.

Founding directors Karen Nolan and Ruth James have built and developed a team that is recognised for the professionalism and accuracy of its work. They take a proactive role in the profitability and success of clients. In addition to this they identified a gap in the market for tax saving solutions aimed at small and medium sized businesses and now bring leading tax strategies to these successful businesses.

Karen trained at what is now Hacker Young in Manchester, one of the largest UK practices, and then qualified and became a partner with an independent practice in Derbyshire.

Ruth trained and qualified with a regional independent practice in the Midlands before managing a leading chartered accountancy practice in Lancashire.

Their team has a wealth of knowledge in general practice, ranging from start up businesses to successful limited companies, partnerships and personal tax affairs of high wealth individuals. They believe in developing the skills of their staff to add further value to the practice and to the quality of service, ultimately benefiting clients.

The whole team at Nolan James believe that getting to know individuals, listening to them and giving clear, concise advice makes for successful long term business relationships.
